In 1993, Cancer Support Community of Greater St. Louis opened its doors to serve people impacted by cancer, and in 2023 we are celebrating 30 years in the community! Research has shown that the best cancer care includes social and emotional support.

Thanks to our community of supporters over the years, we can continue to provide compassionate, innovative and meaningful services to cancer patients, caregivers, survivors and their loved ones AT NO COST! We offer a place where anyone impacted by any type of cancer, at any stage can come to learn, find support and create community.

Thirty years ago, less than 60% of people survived five years after initial diagnosis, and today, that percentage is about 67%, with many more people now living well past age 65. Facts like these give us hope for people receiving cancer diagnoses today--but they also show that the need for CSCSTL’s no-cost services for those impacted by cancer will only grow over our next 30 years! Thanks for being part of our community! Community is Stronger Than Cancer.
